diary of the earth ... the earth compresses infinite sheets of rock ... to be read like a diary ... inside these pages hides the history of what lives and what has lived ... roots and fossils ... ... the kingdom belongs to the plants ... the sun belongs to the plants ... the rich rocky depths ... the trunks absorb life and return the forest ... the shade ... with the sun's rays filtering through the foliage ... the soil dweller builds a shelter against the dance of the blinding constellations ... tied to a rope with the center of the earth, towards which each autumn falls lightly ... towards which the seed rolls between the folds of the sheets ... towards which the man who looks at the sky lies.
